About Zoe Attwood – British Artist & Fashion Floral Painter
Zoe Attwood celebrates the beauty of flowers through the seasons, capturing their delicate forms, subtle colours, and the way light dances across petals. Trained at Central Saint Martins and Kingston University, she brings both formal artistic education and deep knowledge to her work, where fashion and flowers intertwine.
Living beside the dreamlike river that flows through Suffolk, Zoe's home is surrounded by the natural world. Swans glide past, the flash of a kingfisher catches her eye, and an occasional otter appears, while cygnets and ducklings bring daily joy. Witnessing flowers bloom through the seasons and observing nature's cycles of resilience inspires the ethereal quality of her work and informs her artistic vision.
Her travels to Columbia Road Flower Market, the V&A, and the archives at London College of Fashion fill her sketchbooks with drawings that evolve into her distinctive fashion floral compositions. Zoe's work uniquely intertwines flowers, fashion, and nature, creating enchanting fashion figures adorned with blooms, vintage-inspired portraits blooming with seasonal flowers, and elegant floral still lifes in treasured antique pottery.
Working in gouache, acrylic, oil, and monoprint, she translates her garden and location studies into original paintings, vintage fashion portraits with florals, limited-edition giclée prints, and eco-friendly greeting cards crafted on museum-quality textured paper.
With every card sold, Zoe donates 5% of sales to Butterfly Conservation, a cause close to her heart. Even her daughters are named after butterflies, making each piece a tribute to both nature and family.
