My art is inspired by the magical beauty and fragility of nature and life.

I paint from my riverside studio with frequent visits from a duck and swan family and with sights of otters and Kingfishers.

I create pretty paintings on canvas and wood of seasonal flowers, river wildlife and fashion icons in the media in a whimsical fairytale style 

Living by the river you become immersed in the daily struggles of the river wildlife and the harshness of nature. My paintings are of the prettiest flowers and nature through the seasons, a mask of beauty. 

The fashion models I paint in pretty floral surroundings but very fragile in their worlds.  

This I express with a fluid, gestural style, with a muted palette.
